Setup guide
New account to live use, in order. Later steps assume Microsoft is connected and you added some KB text. Before you subscribe, you can complete up to 5 processed triage jobs per workspace to try the pipeline; subscribe for ongoing use.
After each milestone
- Microsoft connected: run folder setup (Integrations), then confirm mail hits the pipeline.
- KB added: upload at least one factual doc. Drafts only use what you stored.
- Rules in place: keep the set small; route invoices; send sensitive topics to humans.
- Subscribed: US$79 / workspace / month with a 14-day trial in Checkout. Add a card before the trial ends. Review drafts before send.
Step 1
Create your account
Sign up and sign in with a work email you control. Your workspace is created when you first use the app. Use the same identity you plan to use for billing and Microsoft 365 access.
Step 2
Connect Microsoft 365
In the app, open Settings → Integrations and connect Microsoft 365 via delegated OAuth (Microsoft Graph). Your organisation may require admin approval. After authorization, run Setup Inbox Folders so routing targets exist in the mailbox.
Step 3
Upload your knowledge base
Open Knowledge Base and add material the product can retrieve: short Q&A-style text, wording aligned with how customers write to you, and one main topic per document where possible. Keep it accurate - drafts use what you store here.
Step 4
Create 3–5 rules
In Rules, start with a small set (three to five) for clear routing and mandatory human review. Send legal, dispute, chargeback, and complaint patterns to escalation. Prefer explicit conditions first; broaden coverage after you see real traffic.
Step 5
Review drafts and escalations
Use the inbox stream to inspect triage output, open items marked for review, and approve drafts before they send. Sends go through review when the workflow says so - test with your mailbox and rules.
Step 6
Go live
Start Checkout from Settings → Billing. New subscriptions include a 14-day trial; add a payment method before it ends or Stripe may cancel the subscription. The workspace plan is US$79 / workspace / month (see Checkout for tax and totals), intended for typical small-team use. Unusually high volume may need a separate conversation - email support@inboxosmail.com first.
Use Manage billing for the Stripe customer portal (payment method, invoices, cancellation). Cancellation stops renewal; access continues through the period you paid for. See Terms for refunds.
Product walkthrough
Same order as below — useful before you run through the app yourself.
- Sign up: account creation and sign-in.
- Connect Microsoft 365: Settings → Integrations, consent, folder setup.
- Upload KB: one or two short docs in Knowledge Base.
- Add rules: 3–5 rules, one clear escalation example.
- Review inbox: triage, review queue, approve before send.
- Billing: Settings → Billing, portal link, invoices, cancel.
